These images were taken in the environs of St Peter Port harbour in the 1800's. The photographers names are listed when known.

In 1863 the Albert Statue was unveiled - this photograph shows a view before any building work on the memorial had started.

As the old South Pier has been replaced (1859/1860) with a new one (demolished 1893) and the north return appears to be now or partially joined up (1861-63), the date of the image could be between 1862 and early1863.
