LONDON BLITZ
These photographs show the massive damage inflicted by the German air-raids between 1940 and 1945 on the City of London, plus some staged publicity images
All the images are taken from the original 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch glass plates and are believed to have been taken by photographers using the British Van Neck camera or similar.
The professional photographer/s are also unknown but they would have been from a Press agency such as CENTRAL PRESS PHOTOS LTD or a British Newspaper.
If anyone can recognise an image in a newspaper or periodical from that era - please get in touch.
Likewise, any help in identifying buildings and streets would be welcome.
