All the images are taken from original 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch glass plates and are believed to have been taken by photographers using the British Van Neck camera or similar.

The professional photographer/s are unknown but they would have been from a Press agency such as CENTRAL PRESS PHOTOS LTD or a British Newspaper.

If anyone can recognise an image from a newspaper or periodical of that era - please get in touch
